Candidate must have experience with SAP. Candidate should be comfortable using stairs to access machinery to identify parts or get part numbers to order.

Client Job Title: Maintenance Planner

SUMMARY

RWP:

The person in this position is expected to perform professionally, highly skilled, and exceptionally competent. Review all new maintenance requests to collect all pertinent information to present for work request approval. Responsible for planning all approved work requests to ensure all parts to complete the job are secured before work is scheduled. Investigate details of work requests by talking to requestors to ensure the correct parts are on hand to complete the job. Plays a key role in improving work planning and scheduling, which will enhance maintenance craftsmen work completion efficiencies.

TPM:

Accountable for TPM maintenance plans and improving stable operations, creating TPM task lists based on operator needs. Trains operators on TPM inspection completion during rollout and for new hires, and follows up on their inspection feedback to create SAP work requests.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve world-class performance in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), total unit cost ($/SQ), maintenance cost ($/RAV), spares inventory ($/RAV), and schedule attainment.
  2. Lead and participate in TPM teams to develop and implement operator task list inspections.
  3. Review daily SAP work notifications, contacting originators when necessary to gather relevant information for approval.
  4. Plan all approved notifications to secure materials needed for work order scheduling and completion.
  5. Create and maintain SAP Maintenance plans and recurring task lists as directed.
  6. Generate monthly work orders backlog report and jobs kitted report.
  7. Maintain TPM task lists and schedules, training operators on TPM inspections and ensuring schedule compliance.
  8. Participate in safety and housekeeping programs and team engineering solutions.
  9. Act as backup for Storeroom coordinator and reliability administrator.
  10. Contribute as a permanent member of RWP work request approval and scheduling committees.
  11. Work with Storeroom and Maintenance buyer to ensure parts kitting for scheduled work.
  12. Secure outside quotes, create scope of work, and procure bids from contractors.
  13. Complete other assignments as directed by maintenance leader.
Skills and Abilities
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills.
  • Flexible working hours, quick learner, sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and think under pressure.
Computer and Software Competencies
  • Navigate Global link, PeopleSoft, and Client University.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Lift up to 40 lbs routinely; up to 80 lbs with assistance.
  • Work in extreme conditions, including hot/cold environments, on concrete floors, and on stairs/ladders.
  • Use PPE as necessary, with exposure to noise and repetitive wrist motions.
