Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Master Planner in South Salt Lake, UT for an on-site, permanent role with a salary range of $110,000–$120,000 per year. The Master Planner will own the Master Production Schedule (MPS), manage customer orders and due dates, and ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The position requires 1–3 years in production planning or master scheduling, plus proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle/NetSuite/SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle/NetSuite/SAP).
• Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience in high-demand, fast-paced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Coordinate incoming customer purchase orders and communicate delivery commitments.
• Set and communicate production due dates within 24 hours of receiving orders.
• Monitor and manage delivery KPIs, including on-time delivery (>99%).
• Create and release work orders through ERP/MRP system.
• Update production schedules daily based on demand and requirements.
• Track production progress and identify schedule risks.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Customer Accounts, and Operations.
• Resolve bottlenecks and escalate issues affecting commitments.
• Forecasting and demand analysis; develop rolling 3-month plans.
• Coordinate expedited orders balancing capacity.
• Communicate schedule changes across departments.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Coordinate incoming customer purchase orders and communicate delivery commitments.
• Establish and communicate production due dates within 24 hours of receiving orders.
• Monitor and manage customer delivery KPIs, including on-time delivery performance exceeding 99%.
• Create and release work orders through the company's ERP/MRP system.
• Update production schedules daily based on demand and operational requirements.
• Track production progress through all stage gates and identify schedule risks.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Customer Account Managers, and Operations teams.
• Resolve production bottlenecks and elevate issues impacting customer commitments.
• Manage forecasting models and perform demand analysis.
• Develop and maintain rolling 3-month production plans.
• Coordinate expedited and rush orders while balancing operational capacity.
• Communicate schedule changes and production priorities across departments.
• Monitor production timelines from order receipt through final shipment.

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain Planning, or Demand Planning experience.
• Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP is required.
• Strong experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage production schedules, work orders, inventory, and customer demand.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience supporting a high-demand, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, changing customer demands, and production constraints.
• Experience developing and maintaining Master Production Schedules (MPS).
• Strong forecasting, demand planning, and capacity planning experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work directly with leadership and customers.
• Health & Wellness, Nutraceutical, Dietary Supplement, Pharmaceutical, or Food Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Project Management certification preferred.

Work Environment

• Office-based position supporting a high-demand manufacturing operation.

• Occasional access to and visibility within the production facility.
