Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to direct shop floor personnel and guide material prioritization for engine build and military spares commitments.

Role requires leadership across manufacturing cells, execution of lean initiatives, and ensuring accurate inventory and delivery commitments. Onsite role in the US with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in manufacturing operations, materials planning, or similar; OR a Master's with 5+ years in related fields; OR a high school diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (Lean, CORE, QCPC) and shop practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Shop Floor personnel in execution of the unit plan.
• Provide direction to Manufacturing Cell Leaders and QA Leaders on prioritization of materials.
• Create Engine Build and Military spares commitments and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
• Lead scheduling and prioritization of critical BU commitments with materials organization.
• Provide leadership to manage accruals, WIP, QN and PPX aging.
• Support Lean, CORE and continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, throughput and delivery integrity.
• Support lean logistics transformation and distribution of material to/from manufacturing cells.
• Ensure inventory accuracy across warehouses and guide policy adherence.
