Job summary

RTX seeks a Materials Manager to lead BU material functions, manage accruals, WIP and aging, and direct shop floor teams to execute the BU plan. You will coordinate with vendor scheduling and prioritize critical commitments while maintaining inventory accuracy across all warehouses.

You will support Lean, CORE and other continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality, throughput and delivery integrity, contributing to RTX’s mission in aerospace and defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in manufacturing operations or materials planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong shop floor knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Materials Manager and guide accruals, WIP, and aging.
• Lead shop floor personnel to execute the BU plan and priorities.
• Coordinate Vendor Assist scheduling and critical BU commitments.
• Ensure inventory accuracy across warehouses.
• Support Lean, CORE and continuous improvement initiatives.
