Job summary

The role focuses on staff development, process standardization, and hands-on leadership to ensure timely material movement and efficient production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2 years of materials leadership experience.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery of materials for shipment.
• Develop and implement standard processes and strategies for production efficiency improvements.
• Lead, supervise, and direct staff development through education, training, coaching and certification.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage of materials.
• Oversee inventory management and control, accuracy and guidelines.
• Ensure efficient materials presentation to support production operations and collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Production.
• Maintain communication between planning, purchasing and production to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead and improve Material/Inventory Management best practices (Cycle Count, Bar Coding, RFID) and Fill Rate.
