Job summary

Generac in Jefferson, WI is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee end-to-end material flow from receiving to line-side presentation and final pick/pack. You will drive improvements in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and on-time delivery by coordinating with production, planning, and purchasing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least two years leading materials teams, and experience with SAP or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership.
• 2 years of experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and from other locations to support production.
• Lead and develop materials staff through education, coaching and certification.
• Manage daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count and storage.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and establish inventory guidelines.
• Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to resolve issues and meet KPIs.
• Maintain strong communication between planning, purchasing and production.
