Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Master Data Processor in Findlay, Ohio to support the creation and maintenance of material master data across inventory systems. You will work with Supply Chain partners to ensure accurate, searchable records and participate in data quality initiatives.

The role requires 1–3+ years in data entry or data evaluation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or related field preferred.
1-3+ years of data entry, data evaluation, supply chain, or related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Review and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master records.
Review and process changes to existing material master data records.
Prevent duplicate records and standardize descriptions and material classifications.
Request additional information from stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and searchability.
Support data quality improvements and continuous improvement efforts.
Provide data support to stakeholders and business partners.
Perform data analysis for metrics reporting, duplicate data reviews, and ad-hoc requests.
