Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Master Data Processor in Findlay, OH to create and maintain material master data across inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners on new records, updates, and data issues while supporting data quality projects.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and 1–3+ years in data entry or related work, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3+ years of data entry or data evaluation in supply chain or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP experience preferred.
• Grade N3–N4; posted level commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Review new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records.
• Review requests for changes to existing material master data records.
• Prevent duplicate records and standardize descriptions and material classifications.
• Request additional information from stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
• Support data quality improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide user support on material master data processes and systems.
• Perform data analysis for metrics reporting and ad-hoc stakeholder requests.
