Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor to create, maintain, standardize, and analyze material master data within our inventory management systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners to ensure accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes data quality, coordination with stakeholders, and processing changes while preventing duplicates and ensuring searchable records across systems. Location: Findlay, OH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or related field preferred.
• 1-3+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
• Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
• Perform steps during the material master data create process to prevent duplicate records and standardize descriptions and classification.
• Initiate requests for information from stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and searchability.
• Support data quality improvements, data cleansing, and process optimization.
• Provide support to stakeholders and business partners on material master data and related processes.
• Perform data analysis for metrics reporting and ad-hoc requests from stakeholders and Supply Chain partners.
