Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor to create, maintain and optimize material master data across inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners to support transactions and drive data quality.

This role focuses on preventing duplicates, standardizing descriptions and classifications, and performing data analysis for metrics and ad-hoc requests. Strong MS Office skills and ERP/SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain, or related experience.
• Knowledge of materials master and related master data processes preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records.
• Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records.
• Prevent duplicate records and standardize description content and material classification.
• Initiate requests for additional information from customer stakeholders for accuracy.
• Support data quality and continuous improvement of material master processes.
• Provide support to customer stakeholders and business partners on material master data.
• Perform data analysis for metrics reporting, duplicate reviews, and ad-hoc requests.
