MITER Brands is seeking a Materials Manager for the Tacoma Vinyl & Pultrusion Composites operations. You will lead Purchasing, Receiving, Distribution, and Scheduling, ensuring accurate inventory, efficient flow, and tight cost controls while supporting financial close and waste reduction initiatives.

The role requires strong Excel skills, a track record in inventory management, and experience guiding cross-functional teams to improve performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, preferably in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• ASCM/APICS certification is a plus.
• Five plus years of inventory management experience.
• Three years of oversight of multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Purchasing optimization and min/max analysis to improve inventory turns.
• Inventory cycle counting with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage plant scheduling to maximize capacity and on-time customer delivery.
• Lead safety training and incident root-cause investigations.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support location management.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls across purchasing, receiving, scheduling, and materials handling.
• Oversee material flow, kanbans, and storage solutions to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with strategic procurement on lead times and pricing with local suppliers.
• Communicate material risks/shortages across functions and propose solutions.
• Track cycle counts, receipts within 24 hours, and inventory days of supply.
• Participate in location management and safety initiatives.
