Job summary

Pac Seating Systems Llc is seeking a Materials Manager to lead purchasing and inventory planning for production and plant operations. You will refine procurement policies, manage vendor contracts, and align ERP/MRP processes with the production plan to meet customer delivery dates.

The role requires 6–10+ years in aerospace manufacturing or similar, ISO-9001 experience, and strong leadership. Expect cross-functional collaboration and opportunities to optimize inventory turns and costs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 6–10+ years experience in aerospace manufacturing or related job shop.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement programs.
• ISO-9001 quality system experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate purchasing and inventory for production and plant operations.
• Develop policies/procedures for inventory, purchasing and shipping.
• Manage vendor contracts, lead-times and quality of materials.
• Review release strategies to ensure coverage of customer demand.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Customer Service on delivery dates.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy and schedule adherence.
• Forecast inventory levels for materials, WIP and FG; drive cycle counts.
• Expand supplier base and establish long-term contracts to reduce lead times and costs.
• Report KPIs to drive supply chain performance.
