Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a seasoned procurement and materials controller to plan, source, store and control incoming parts to support production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Engineering, Inventory and Project Management to ensure timely, on-spec delivery, optimize inventory, and manage master schedules with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in materials management, inventory control, or logistics.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience.
• APICS CPIM certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and planning for incoming parts to meet production needs.
• Negotiate timelines and costs; manage flow of parts and finished goods.
• Identify risks and maintain critical path accuracy.
• Direct production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Maintain perpetual inventory accuracy and ERP/MRP data.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, Receiving, Engineering, Inventory, and PM.
• Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
• Manage storage of parts and finished goods; write-offs for obsolete stock.
• Ensure timely master schedule execution and cross‑functional liaison.
• Regular in-person attendance is essential.
