Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Materials Manager to lead procurement, planning, inventory control and stockroom operations. You will ensure timely material availability to support production and customer requirements.

You will supervise planning, inventory, and receiving, drive process improvements, and collaborate with purchasing, production and sales to optimize material availability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing materials management.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience with management training.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise planning, inventory control and stockroom teams.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and develop staff to meet goals.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Align with Purchasing & Vendor Management; work with SC and vendors.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate to ensure quality, price and delivery.
• Maintain ethical and transparent vendor relationships.
• Oversee material planning and production scheduling to meet demand.
• Collaborate with production and sales to align material availability.
• Establish and monitor inventory control systems.
• Minimize carrying costs and reduce obsolete inventory.
• Ensure receiving processes timely and accurate receipt of goods.
• Maintain organized and efficient stockroom operations.
• Analyze supply chain performance and implement improvements.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage procurement and inventory data.
