Job summary

ARCH Global Precision is seeking a Materials Manager to plan, procure, store, control, and distribute raw materials and finished products to meet company objectives and customer requirements.

You will coordinate with quality, engineering, production and customer service to ensure 100% on-time delivery, manage inbound/outbound materials, verify certifications, release materials for assemblies, and maintain inventory accuracy with Finance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• 1-2 years’ experience material planning and purchasing.
• Certified on sit-down forklift preferred.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with quality, engineering, production and customer service to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Manage incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify raw material certifications against specifications.
• Identify and release raw materials and components for assemblies.
• Develop methods and best practices for inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control.
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with Finance and an inventory control system.
• Adhere to company policies and legal requirements affecting purchasing.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment per EH&S regulations.
