Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a talented Materials Manager to lead inventory management strategies, optimize supplier performance, and improve processes.

You will design analytics, dashboards, and metrics to guide critical decisions and keep customer experience at the forefront. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to scalable supply chain initiatives across AWS Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience.
• 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.

Responsibilities

• Create and clearly communicate supply schedules, priorities, and status to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
• Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
• Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
