Job summary

Amazon supply chain is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead optimization initiatives across the NA network, focusing on robust metrics, scalable systems, and automation to improve inventory flow and operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—finance, operations, program management, product, and planning—to deliver data-driven improvements aligned with Amazon's customer-obsessed goals and strategic inventory initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies balancing cost and service levels.
• Create and maintain KPIs to track inventory health, turnover, connectivity distance and cost.
• Design scalable inventory planning and positioning processes considering network constraints and delivery speed targets.
• Align inventory strategies with broader supply chain goals, including transportation efficiency and FC capacity.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across finance, operations, SCOT and planning teams.
• Build inventory management playbooks and SOPs.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce carrying costs and improve inventory accuracy.
• Support central teams in developing strategic inventory planning for annual operating plans.
• Lead initiatives to scale inventory operations and implement automation solutions.
