Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to optimize procurement and allocations across infrastructure components for the world’s leading cloud platform. You will forecast demand, manage inventory buffers, and collaborate with Hardware Engineering and suppliers to reduce cycle times and improve SLA adherence.

You will develop analytics tools and dashboards, drive automation, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders shaping scalable, cost-efficient data center supply

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Responsibilities

• Forecast generation and demand planning
• Allocations of AWS material from inventory hubs to suppliers
• Requirement and Specification reviews with Hardware Engineering
• Ocean, air, and ground transportation planning
• Supply heatmap generation
• In This Role, You Will: Perform forecasting, demand analysis, material/inventory management, and manage supply buffers
• Understand manufacturing processes to verify supply commitments and reduce cycle times
• Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocation and monitor changes and cancellations
• Participate in requirements gathering
• Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings
• Produce written recommendations and insights to inform key stakeholders of supply chain health and help shape solution design
