Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners seeks a Materials Manager to lead supply chain and materials management at St. Francis Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role oversees purchasing, inventory management, vendor coordination, and supply availability to ensure the center has the resources needed to support safe, efficient, high-quality surgical care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; materials mgmt experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and inventory management software.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels to support daily operations.
• Review surgery schedules to anticipate supply needs.
• Order, receive and distribute supplies per policy.
• Manage vendor relationships and pricing; handle PO/invoice accuracy.
• Support safety, infection control and quality programs.
• Maintain organized and secure storage areas.
• Participate in professional development and team initiatives.
