As a member of the Materials Team, the Materials Manager will be responsible for inventory control, supporting production scheduling with material flow issues, managing vendor relationships, assessing supply needs, and coordinating delivery schedules. They will analyze sales and shipped-from-stock trends, recommend inventory levels, and implement changes as directed by senior management. The role also includes managing the purchasing function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of purchase orders, and overseeing the PO acknowledgment process to ensure on-time delivery.
