This role collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to maintain adequate inventory levels, perform regular counts, and use inventory management software to track supplies and generate reports, while complying with OSHA safety

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in materials management or inventory control.
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment for accuracy and quality.
• Stores supplies in designated locations according to established guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized inventory area.
• Distributes supplies and equipment to departments as needed, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
• Assists in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Utilizes inventory management software to track supplies, update records, and generate reports.
• Communicates with vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, or returns, coordinating with the purchasing department as necessary.
• Monitors supply usage and initiates reorders to maintain adequate inventory levels, preventing shortages.
• Follows safety protocols for handling, storing, and distributing medical supplies, ensuring compliance with OSHA and facility guidelines.
• Provides support for special projects, equipment setup, and supply chain optimization as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
