Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a materials and sourcing leader to develop and manage planning, inventory, and related cost elements within a healthcare-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school education; associates or BA in business or supply management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in materials and sourcing management, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience in total quality, lean, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage planning, inventory, material and related cost elements.
  • Analyze supply and demand and forecast inventory needs.
  • Establish methods to support inventory forecasting and purchasing.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet growth and sourcing requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, terms, and legal matters for purchasing.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy with a control system and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in line with regulations.
  • Understand building facilities systems and maintain PM programs.
  • Coordinate with vendors for PMs and with the property manager for repairs.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate appropriate vendor repairs.

Job description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and manage planning, inventory, material and associated cost elements.
  • Performs analysis of supply demand.
  • Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control.
  • Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirements.
  • Identify, develop and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets.
  • Establish, implement, and manage system to evaluate, monitor and report supplier scorecard performance.
  • Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions and legal matters that affect purchasing policies.
  • Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, an inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of building facilities systems.
  • Maintain facilities PM program and reports.
  • Collaborate with vendors to perform PMs as needed/scheduled.
  • Working relationship with the property manager to facilitate repairs and building needs.
  • Troubleshoot needs as issues arise and procure the appropriate vendor to repair as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Highschool education required, Associates or BA in business or supply management preferred
    • A background in HR, supervision and/or management desirable, but not required
  • At least 5 years progressive experience in management of materials and sourcing in healthcare
  • Experience in total quality, lean, or other similar environments.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of supply inventory systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel. Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
Physical Nature of the Job:

Exerting up to 25 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.
