Job summary

Bailey Square Surgical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Materials Management Coordinator to support instrument, supply, and equipment purchasing with a focus on cost effectiveness and accurate records.

You will work with the Regional/Market Materials Manager, manage center supply expenses, establish PAR stock levels, process orders, and oversee biannual inventories and accounts payable in collaboration with the business office.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in materials management.
• Some accounting or bookkeeping experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Regional/Market Materials Manager.
• Manage center supply expenses and PAR stock levels.
• Handle purchasing using purchase orders and verify orders.
• Prepare returns and ship goods from the center.
• Oversee biannual inventories and input counts into SMART.
• Process accounts payable with the business office manager.
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff on product needs and trial use.
