Virtua in Greentree Village is looking for a Materials Management Associate to receive, store, and distribute products within their Service Center. Key responsibilities include verifying incoming product quality, maintaining inventory using FIFO practices, and operating equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year prior materials management experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge and skills in computer use (data entry, email usage).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of incoming product using applicable equipment.
• Fill, transport and deliver orders to service center designated areas.
• Maintain and optimize assigned inventories, ensuring FIFO practices.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and security of operations.
• Use Warehouse Management systems to perform duties.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Conduct outdated product checks and document findings.
• Participate in annual physical inventories.
• Prepare or put away STAT/RUSH orders.
• Check e-mails/voicemail for supply requests.
• Participate in orientation and training of new employees.
