Job summary

Virtua in Camden, NJ is seeking an on-site Materials Handler to manage supply chain logistics, inventory, and distribution to clinical departments. You will ensure FIFO, accuracy, and cycle counts to uphold quality control.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and delivering to departments, maintaining a safe and organized facility, and aiding annual physical inventories. HS degree or equivalent; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior materials management experience, in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Education in lieu of experience may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of computer use (data entry, email usage).
• Knowledge of inventory and stocking to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of incoming product using applicable equipment and systems.
• Fill, transport and deliver orders to designated areas using appropriate systems and equipment.
• Maintains and optimizes assigned inventories, ensures FIFO is practiced.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety and security of receiving/storage areas.
• May assist departments to achieve product standardization and optimal inventory levels.
