Job summary

Thomson Reuters is hiring a Materials Management Associate for our Eagan, Minnesota printing plant. You will set up tasks, monitor equipment, troubleshoot, and support quality and safety across the shift. You’ll document activities in SAP/MII, coordinate with teams, and contribute to continuous improvement.

The role includes 3rd shift work (10:30 pm–6:30 am), occasional overtime, and a $2,500 bonus after 90 days. A strong lean mindset and mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements.
• Perform set-up tasks and monitor equipment for quality.
• Troubleshoot product or equipment issues.
• Communicate effectively during shift and hand-off.
• Evaluate mechanical condition and perform preventive maintenance.
• Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files.
• Document activities on Tier Boards and in SAP/MII.
• Perform feeding, catching off, stacking, and inventory cycle counts.
• Participate in safety programs and contribute to a safe culture.
• Generate and sustain continuous improvement ideas.
• Participate in project teams and provide backup for others.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
