Job summary

Thomson Reuters is hiring a Materials Management Associate for our printing plant in Eagan, Minnesota. This role focuses on set-up tasks, equipment monitoring, and troubleshooting on the Core Publishing Solutions team, with a $2,500 bonus after 90 days.

The position operates on a 3rd shift (10:30 pm – 6:30 am) with potential overtime and weekend shifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong mechanical skills, and knowledge of Lean concepts; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and read

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Good mechanical and technical skills; able to troubleshoot
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders
• Regularly lift up to 5 lbs above shoulder and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements.
• Perform set-up tasks and monitor equipment.
• Ensure product quality and seek maintenance support when needed.
• Troubleshoot simple to moderately complex issues on equipment or product.
• Document activities on Tier Boards and relevant systems (MII, SAP).
• Perform material handling and cycle count tasks.
• Support safety programs and maintain a safe work culture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement ideas and projects.
