Job summary

BorgWarner Arden Plant is seeking a detail-focused Receiving/Shipping Associate to support inbound logistics, post receipts in SAP, and coordinate withShipping, Customer Service and Accounting teams. You will unload trucks, verify quantities, enter ASN data and ensure accurate paperwork.

The role requires forklift experience, solid math skills and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment with strict schedules and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree or two more years of related experience preferred.
• Minimum of one-year related experience.
• Strong keyboarding and scanning skills.
• Strong forklift experience and skills.
• Good math and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping, packaging, labeling and trucking concepts.
• Ability to adapt schedule to meet customer shipping/production schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound carrier and shipment decisions.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and process information accordingly.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities including customers, carriers, production, and planning.
• Must work safely and follow Arden plant policies.

Responsibilities

• Scanning inventory for receipt upon delivery from supplier.
• Posting receipts in SAP with Receiving Coordinator.
• Unloading trucks.
• Verifying quantities and packing list accuracy.
• Entering ASN data to ensure timely processing.
• Communicating shipping docs to customers and internal departments.
• Providing order tracking, routing and EDI information via calls and emails.
• Handling miscellaneous shipments using UPS/FedEx software.
• Understanding dock functions including repacks and labeling.
• Printing transfer orders and labels; assisting labeling when needed.
• Completing Bill of Lading for transportation.
• Arranging carriers as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
