Job summary

BorgWarner Emissions Systems Spain SL is seeking a Materials Associate for the Warehouse 12-hour Day Shift in Seneca, SC to load and unload materials for production lines, storage areas, and trailers.

The role requires safe operation of equipment (forklifts, stand-up lifts), SAP data entry, reading BOMs and pull sheets, and adherence to 5S and FIFO principles in a fast-paced environment. A High School diploma or GED is required; forklift experience and SAP knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• 3 months of Powered Industrial Truck experience required
• Active Forklift Certification License preferred
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred
• Experience in fast paced industrial lean environment preferred
• Computer Skills: SAP Inventory software; Excel and Word processing software

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers.
• Reads and understands work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute material flow requirements.
• Enter materials transactional information into SAP and other systems.
• Read bill of materials and pull sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.
• Support 5S / housekeeping activities; adhere to FIFO standards; use PPE and safety protocols
