Carrier Global Corporation in Charlotte is seeking a Materials and Logistics Manager to oversee storage, distribution, and inventory for production, driving efficiency and on-time delivery. You will lead a hands-on team, optimize material flow, manage ERP/WMS systems, coordinate with procurement and suppliers, and develop the department budget while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
• 5+ years in materials management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• 3+ years with inventory control, demand planning, and warehouse operations.
• 3+ years with ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• 3+ years leading teams, drive process improvements, and manage supplier relationships.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team responsible for material handling, warehouse operations, and logistics.
• Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow and logistics processes, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
• Oversee material planning, procurement, receiving, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and suppliers to mitigate risks related to material shortages or supply chain disruptions.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation of materials.
• Analyze KPIs and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage the department budget, optimizing costs while maintaining service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to materials handling and logistics.
• Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, streamline operations, and enhance decision-making.
