Saronic Technologies Inc. is seeking a Materials Supervisor to manage the flow of materials for autonomous surface vessels, overseeing procurement, storage, and distribution.

You will coordinate with suppliers, ensure timely deliveries, and lead a team of material handlers while maintaining DoD-compliant quality control. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in materials management within defense, aerospace, or maritime industries, with strong analytical, negotiation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, materials management or related field.
• 5+ years in materials management in defense, aerospace, or maritime industries.
• Strong procurement, inventory and logistics knowledge.
• Familiarity with DoD procurement procedures, regulations and standards.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle and similar systems.
• Experience with materials testing, certifications, and military standards.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material procurement, storage and distribution for autonomous vessels.
• Coordinate receiving, pricing, lead times and supplier performance.
• Ensure DoD-compliant material quality assurance and inspections.
• Maintain inventory control and perform regular audits.
• Coordinate inbound logistics to production facilities and manage transport.
• Document materials, inventories, and orders; generate reports.
• Supervise material handlers and mentor staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on material sourcing.
