Job summary

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime systems, seeks a detail-oriented Material Handler to ensure smooth material flow for production of autonomous surface vessels. You will receive shipments, organize storage, and maintain inventory records to support DoD programs.

You will collaborate across procurement, production, and logistics, using ERP systems, and help implement lean practices while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certification is a plus.
• Experience as material handler in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Strong organization, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for hazardous materials.
• Willingness to overtime or weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against PO and packing slips.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas with proper handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems.
• Prepare and package materials for outbound shipments with documentation.
• Coordinate material requisitions with procurement and production.
• Monitor stock levels and flag shortages or overages.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist lean manufacturing to optimize material flow.
• Collaborate with logistics to coordinate transportation between suppliers and production.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
