Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Materials Supervisor to manage material flow for autonomous maritime vessels. You will oversee procurement, storage, and distribution while coordinating with suppliers and production teams to maintain schedules.

The role requires DoD procurement familiarity, strong inventory control, and leadership experience in a fast-paced environment. A relevant bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in materials management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of materials management experience, preferably in defense/aerospace/maritime.
• Strong procurement, inventory, and logistics knowledge.
• Familiarity with DoD procurement procedures and standards.
• Experience with materials testing and military-grade standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, storage, and distribution of materials for autonomous vessels.
• Coordinate with receiving teams for inspection and acceptance of materials.
• Ensure compliance with DoD requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain inventory control system and regular audits.
• Coordinate inbound logistics and transportation to production facilities.
• Maintain documentation and generate material usage and stock reports.
• Lead and develop a team of material handlers.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in handling and storage.
