Job summary

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime systems, seeks a meticulous Material Handler to support the flow of materials for DoD-grade autonomous vessels. You will receive, store, and distribute components, maintain accurate records, and support lean initiatives while collaborating with procurement and production teams.

The role requires organizational focus, safety awareness, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Proven experience as a material handler or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and handling hazardous materials.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify against PO and packing slips.
• Organize and store materials with proper handling and safety.
• Maintain inventory records using electronic systems.
• Prepare and package materials for outbound shipments with proper labeling.
• Coordinate with procurement and production to fulfill material requests.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize flow and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with logistics to coordinate material transport between suppliers, subcontractors and production.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
