Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support the production of autonomous surface vessels for the DoD. You will manage material receipt, storage, and distribution while maintaining accurate inventory records in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, organizing storage, and coordinating with procurement and production to fulfill requests. The role emphasizes safety, lean principles, and collaboration with logistics partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics/supply chain cert is a plus.
• Proven material handler experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Familiar with inventory management systems and ERP is preferred.
• Strong organization and multitasking with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols for handling materials.
• Ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, verify accuracy against orders and packing slips.
• Store materials in designated areas, follow safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory records in electronic systems.
• Prepare materials for outbound shipments with proper labeling.
• Coordinate with procurement and production to fulfill requests.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or excesses.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Support lean manufacturing to improve material flow and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for material movement.
• Adhere to company policies and safety/compliance rules.
