Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a detail-oriented materials coordinator to create and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely production and inbound freight management. You will coordinate with carriers and suppliers, manage inventory levels, and support national account planning while using Microsoft D365 for data accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment to maintain high service levels across our distributed network.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor purchase orders to ensure materials are available for production and on-time delivery.
• Process a variety of documents and reports; generate weekly/monthly production/distribution reports.
• Coordinate inbound logistics with freight coordinators, carriers, and customer DCs; provide freight pricing information.
• Use Microsoft D365 parameters and coordinate with operations to ensure material requirements and timely delivery.
• Support national account managers with daily activities and planning.
• Perform other related administrative duties as assigned by management.
