Job summary

The Material Coordinator at DMC coordinates receiving, storage, and transfer of materials to support all operations on the site. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a busy shipping and receiving dock with cross-functional teams.

Safety, quality, and accurate documentation are essential. Responsibilities include processing shipments, verifying materials, maintaining records, and escalating discrepancies to supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to safely operate required material-handling equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving of materials through the dock area.
• Coordinate and verify incoming materials, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate staging, and shipping and receiving between departments and locations.
• Manage receiving dock activities including truck coordination and documentation.
• Oversee labeling, repackaging, and preparation of materials per procedures.
• Maintain records for accountability and audit compliance; reconcile discrepancies.
• Escalate shortages, issues, and damaged materials to supervision.
• Perform other inventory movement and dock duties as required.
