Job summary

DMC is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage receiving and transfer activities, ensuring accurate verification and documentation of materials. The role supports a busy dock, coordinating with production and inventory teams to maintain material flow with strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, up to 2 years of shipping or warehouse experience, and be able to operate forklifts after training.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving of materials through the dock area.
• Coordinate and verify incoming materials, quantities, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate staging, shipping and receiving of materials between departments.
• Manage receiving dock activities including truck coordination and documentation.
• Oversee material identification, labeling, and packaging per procedures.
• Maintain accurate records for accountability and audits.
• Escalate shortages, discrepancies, or documentation issues as needed.
