Job summary

CompoSecure is seeking a hands-on Materials Control Lead to support production by allocating inventory to lines and staging areas. You will guide materials and warehouse teams, develop standard work, and drive cycle counts to safeguard accuracy and cost control.

You will analyze variances, propose process improvements, and coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping while minimizing shrink. Join a team focused on lean, value-stream improvements and reliable material flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree preferred; High School Education a must.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check own work.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Task oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Proactive, adaptable, team oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
• High level of computer literacy including MS Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional guidance and daily support to materials and warehouse personnel.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard work processes for materials management.
• Lead cycle count program to ensure proper inventory usage and control; maintain daily, weekly and monthly counts.
• Analyze inventory transactions and variances.
• Suggest improvements to procedures to enhance inventory accuracy, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate receiving, storing, and shipping of merchandise and materials; protect inventory and reduce shrink.
• Issue production materials to meet production schedules.
• Identify and escalate handling and storage issues.
• Collaborate with supply chain management on lean warehouse/factory and value stream improvements.
• Provide backup support for other supply chain functions.
