Job summary

ALCOM is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee all aspects of material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehousing for a multi-plant manufacturing operation. You will lead a team, manage raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods, and coordinate with production planning to meet demand.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP proficiency, Lean/5S experience, and advanced Excel skills. You will drive improvements in inventory controls and reporting while ensuring safe, efficient operations on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of materials management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Genius ERP is a plus.
• Lean training and 5S experience required or preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory staff and ensure KPI adherence.
• Maintain accurate records for raw materials, subassemblies, OEMs and finished goods.
• Oversee cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory data.
• Ensure 24-hour dock-to-stock and timely material replenishment.
• Improve reporting and procedures for efficient materials flow and warehousing.
