To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Lead located in Austin, TX. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Materials Lead is responsible for leading the work of others and participates in work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. Works with independence in carrying out duties with limited supervision. E Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday every other Wednesday)
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of materials, warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience. Previous experience as a Team Lead, Lead Material Handler, Warehouse Lead, Work Lead, or similar lead role is strongly preferred. Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must possess a valid driver's license. Experience maintaining inventory accuracy, processing shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Use of the following tools may be required: forklifts, electronic scales, pallet jacks, measuring tools, and alignment tools. Use of the following tools may be required: MS Office Skills: typing, telephones, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation package and database systems. Warehouse skills: forklift, electronic scales, pallet jack, measuring tools, and alignment tools. Required good clerical and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
