Job summary

Flex, a global manufacturing partner, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Handler in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will process inbound and outbound shipments, verify counts, prepare packing lists and bills of lading, and stage materials for loading.

You'\'ll work Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with responsibilities including cycle counting, data entry in the ERP/MRP system, and ensuring accurate receiving and shipping records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; reports discrepancies per policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product for pickup by shipping carrier.
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks safely.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Handler located in Dallas, Texas.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Handler will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities.

Shift : Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What a typical day looks like:

• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.

• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over‑shipments, or substitutions.

• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.

• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.

• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safely manner.

• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
