Position Summary: This position is located in Warner Robins, Georgia, serving as a materials laboratory technician for the Air Force Metals Fabrication and Technologies Office (AFMFTO). Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment; managing consumable inventory and procurement; preparing and tracking material samples; and adhering to lab and equipment guidelines. The successful candidate will understand materials testing equipment and techniques per ISO and ASTM Standards, conduct experiments, and collect data with minimal supervision. The role primarily supports government clients, with some industry support.
