Job summary

Certerra is seeking an ACI Laboratory Manager to lead the Phoenix materials testing laboratory and support accreditation efforts. You will oversee testing and reporting for soil, asphalt, concrete, and aggregate materials, ensuring quality and compliance with ASTM and AASHTO standards.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate with project managers, and drive continual improvement of lab processes and documentation, while supporting ongoing professional development within a safety‑driven

Qualifications

• Leadership and oversight of laboratory operations.
• Experience with accreditation programs (AMRL, CCRL) and proficiency testing.
• Ability to interpret project documents and specifications, coordinate with PMs and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab testing of soil, asphalt, concrete, and aggregate per ASTM/AASHTO.
• Maintain lab accreditation programs and ensure compliant testing.
• Supervise Technicians, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Review reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain safe, organized lab environment.
