Job summary

American Woodmark Corp., part of MasterBrand, seeks an Inventory/Materials Supervisor to coordinate inventory control using Oracle ERP Cloud and WMS. You will lead cycle counters and ensure accurate material movements, providing timely data to support production and SQDC targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years supervising multiple departments, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. This on-site role in Hamlet, NC offers growth within a major cabinetry manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business or related discipline; extensive work experience considered in place of education.
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience; wood-related preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years supervision across multiple departments.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with MRP systems including Oracle Cloud and WMS.
• Lean training is a plus; APICS Certification is possible.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory control for materials in ERP Cloud and WMS.
• Create and implement daily reports to reflect inventory data.
• Lead cycle counters, inventory specialists, receiving, and leads.
• Ensure accurate material transactions and data integrity.
• Provide materials information, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain availability and condition of materials for internal and external clients.
• Manage Kanban with quarterly usage evaluations and improvements.
• Read and understand AWC specs and drawings.
