Job summary

Greenheck Group seeks a Materials Specialist to coordinate with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and optimize inventory. You will identify process improvements, update routings, and assist in engineering change notices to minimize scrap and ensure smooth material flow.

You will collaborate with plant scheduling, purchasing, and production supervision to resolve material issues, manage cycle counts, and maintain master data accuracy across facilities, contributing to a high‑performing

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in materials/inventory management.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent years of job experience.
• APICS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor excess inventory and assist in ensuring on-time delivery.
• Define processes, routings, replenishment policies, capacity planning and SOPs.
• Coordinate with scheduling, purchasing, and production supervision to resolve material issues.
• Identify improvements in documentation and streamline non-value added shop floor processes.
• Ensure parts and materials are available to prevent production delays.
• Lead engineering change notices and item activity notices to minimize scrap.
• Determine optimal inventory locations and manage storage activities.
• Coordinate year-end counts and cycle counting activities.
• Support safety practices and employee development.
• Develop and distribute inventory level reports.
