Job summary

Greenheck Group, a global HVAC leader, is seeking a Materials Specialist I-III to coordinate material flow and schedule attainment for on-time delivery in its Kentucky facilities.

You will collaborate with scheduling, purchasing, and production teams to optimize inventory, implement process improvements, and support shop floor product development, while maintaining stock integrity and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in materials/inventory management.
• APICS Certification is preferred across levels.
• Bachelor/Master level degree preferred for higher levels; associate degree accepted with experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with plant scheduling, purchasing, and production supervision to resolve material issues preventing on-time delivery.
• Support new and existing product development on the shop floor, updating routings, replenishment policies, and capacity planning.
• Coordinate with IT and company systems to streamline non-value added shop floor processes.
• Maintain stock availability and proper inventory relief of parts; ensure accurate storage and location data.
• Plan, lead, and implement inventory reduction projects and cycle counting activities.
