Job summary

Custom Pipe and Fabrication is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to oversee procurement, storage, receiving and distribution of materials to production facilities. This role focuses on maintaining inventory levels, tracking shipments, and generating reports to optimize stock and reduce loss.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of inventory management or logistics experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of inventory management, logistics, or related field.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Maintaining daily records for invoices and shipments.
Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
Examine levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish material and supply shortages.
Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
Evaluating new inventory and ensuring readiness to deliver.
Performing cycle counts on inventory.
Assist in preparation of physical inventory.
Perform duties safely and efficiently as directed by Inventory Manager.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager.
