AEP in Three Rivers, MI seeks a Stores Attendant to manage material accountability and storeroom operations. You will process material receipts, pick, haul, and deliver materials, and operate company vehicles as needed.

The role requires at least one year in inventory control or warehousing, basic computer skills (Maximo, Excel, Word), and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. A valid state license is needed; CDL within six months if required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year work experience in inventory control and related fields.
• Basic computer skills to use inventory management software such as Maximo; Excel and Word experience preferred.
• Ability to perform duties listed above and to work independently.
• Strong working knowledge of logistics related to shipping and relocating inventory.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and complete PAT.
• Possess the appropriate State driver license; CDL within six months if required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, road vehicles).
• CDL may be required and must be obtained if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Issue material under proper authorization and file related records; may involve picking up, hauling, and delivering materials.
• Inspect received material; check quantity and condition; process material receipt records.
• Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
• Identify, sort and record material returned; place usable stock and scrap unusable material.
• Operate terminals and printers supporting a material management system; use office equipment.
• Prepare and pack material for shipment or storage; prepare shipping papers and records, including hazardous materials as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, order pickers, etc.).
• Assist supervisor with storage efficiency, bin/rack changes, and location updates.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory through cycle counts and discrepancy adjustments.
• Assist coworkers of equal or higher classification and perform similar or less skilled work.
• Follow safety rules and company operating regulations.
