Job summary

Insight Global seeks a detail-oriented Material Specialist in California to support Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory operations. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and movement of materials, coordinating with procurement, production, and quality teams to sustain production flow.

The role requires 1+ year in ERP/inventory systems, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. On-site work environment in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have 1+ year(s) experience working with ERP/inventory management system

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of materials according to packing lists and purchase orders
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and specifications against documentation and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Label and store received materials in designated inventory locations with proper handling
• Kit work orders safely and timely in accordance with company standards
• Maintain records of shipping/receiving activities, including shipment logs and tracking
• Perform cycle counts and physical audits of program/government furnished materials
• Prepare, ship, and track outgoing shipments via FedEx and UPS
• Operate standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain cleanliness of stockroom areas
• Assist with electronic inventory in accordance with ESD requirements
